That only got you a C?!

I can't believe they would only give you a C for that!... Heh, if I was attending that school I'd be failing for sure =P

That was awesome, I especially liked the 80's theme to it. The Micheal Jackson bit made me laugh. I hope you continue this story, but if not then I'd be just as happy seeing more of your work.

HappyHarry responds:

Dude, thanks.

The work was also very late...and I'm a terrible student

OMG YES!!!

When I saw the name of this flash I just had to watch it! I love Five Iron Frenzy and especially this song! =D
I really enjoyed the style you have goin here and it was animated VERY well for your first full length movie. lol I laughed at the "cheap lazy battle scene" because I'm the laziest when it comes to action scenes, but yours wasn't actually a bad fight scene at all. Again, I REALLY like your style!
I loved this flash and I will be stalking you until you make another... O_o;

TheKrimsonKrusader responds:

I don't know whether to be flattered or scared by this review. But thank you.

MULLEN!!!

Yeah man! That Rodney is insane! He's my hero =D
This was awesome to say the least. I thought the tips section was a great idea for putting in a flash lol even though the only tricks I can't do are heelflips and hardflips... thems hard... lol I broke a chunk out of my board when I was learning to do kickflips too =(
I loved the bails part the most though, mostly because that part where the guy lands in the trash can is something I saw happen to a friend in real life. I laughed so hard when I saw it on this!
Great work and thanks for the good laugh!

The review

I know what you mean about people always saying skate flashes needing plots, characters blah blah blah... I think you've definitely made something that meets their demands! I gotta say, the outtakes were really funny mostly because the car actually moved the way a real one would lol =P
I really enjoyed seeing this guy manage to throw in some tricks while literally skating for his life lol Good job!

pogo sticks are bouncy

Wow that was fantastic! It's always great to see such an awesome new series. I liked everything about it! It's also great to see you use the VAC for your voices, good job. I'll gladly wait for the next one.

grim-studios responds:

The funny thing is, I'm part of the VAC too, so I used my connections! :P

Well done!

lol Well I'm sure you've had tons of people say they'll do Snake's voice for you but if you're still interested there's actually a club here on NG that is comprised of voice actors. You can put all your requests there. Just go to the forums in the Clubs & Crews section and look for the Voice Acting Club. I'm in there too lol =D
Anyways, you have some real skills on flash. This was animated and drawn very well AND it was funny too! I really hope you find people to do voices... even though I thought you did a very good job yourself.

Yummy!

Wow, to say you're a beginner in flash is almost like lying lol. You are a very talented artist and your skills in flash are superb. I thought this story was really cute and you have a natural sense of humor. My ONLY complaint is that the sound effects were too different in terms of volume. This is something easily fixed on flash, although it may be a little time consuming. Just select the sound on the timeline, go to properties and then edit. I don't know if you knew this or not, just thought I'd try to help ya out =D
Great job, I hope you continue to make NG a home for your flash.

Soothing

Soothing really is the first word that comes to mind after I watch one of your flashes. They are simply so beautiful and very touching. So touching, in fact, that I when I work on my flash, I often come back to yours to get the feeling right. I'm working on a flash about love right now and i'm really pleased with how it's coming along. I definitely must give you credit for inspiring me with such amazing work. Thank you so much and may you have the best in life.

BlackmarketKraig responds:

Wow. Thank you so much!

I have thought about it a lot, and I believe that emotion is the most important tool to any artist. I don't know how successful I am at utilizing that, but's it's what I am trying to get ahold of.

Anyone can learn to paint a landscape or compose a piece of music, more or less, but few can make it so that when you look at that landscape or hear that music you feel hope or loneliness or joy...

I believe that's what separates something beautiful from something bland and commercial.

Anyway thanks for reviewing and for the 10!

...and best of luck on your future projects.
