To be honest, I almost didn't give this a chance because I thought "great, another pixelated flash..." but man, am I ever glad I went against my prejudice feelings on this one!
Everything about this pleased me in so many ways that Newgrounds has been failing to lately.
The writing, animation, and music was superb. Even the extra content in the options was good for a laugh! You've officially renewed my faith in pixel animation/animators. Everyone involved deserves some massive high fives!

Also, I'm impressed you find time to reply to so many (all?) of your reviews. Considering there's currently 425 of them...

It was ok.

You almost had me stuck on 8, but I got it.

This was ok, but I think it needed a little more to make it better overall.
Whether that be more (better looking) levels or a few variations in gameplay, such as moving your cursor inside of a moving box/cirle/whatever to get across something.
Also, the music was a plus for me :D

Looks pretty good

Despite the fact that this is a demo and it's extremely short, I thought it was pretty good. The style is awesome and doing this type of a battling system is quite difficult scripting-wise. I know from experience that this will take a long time to make, so just take your time and actually FINISH it too.
Don't get discouraged, you have a great game (from the looks of it) in the making and I anticipate it will do very well. Good luck!

Anyway, I really liked this song. It was really mellow, but also had an up tempo, which I really like.

lol Man, this is SO suited for an anime. It really sounds like the theme song to a show. Which isn't a bad thing at all, I like anime a lot *thumbs up*

I love the vocals. Not many people make their own vocals, but you guys did a fantastic job!
